His Holiness Sri Sri Jagadguru Kanchi Kamakoti Peetathipathy Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal laid foundation at Anandasramam, Mayyanur on 30-5-82. The land was leased to Sri Vidya Mandir Association by Anandasramam Trust of Annan Thirumaliar, Shevapet, Salem-2. The School was opened on 17-6-82. The new main building and subsequently another new building at Anandasramam were declared open by his Holiness Sri Sri Jagadguru Bharathi Theertha Swamigal, SaradaPeetham, Sringeri on 18-7-83 and 7-1-88 respectively. Today the school has grown into a full-fledged Jr.College.

The school believes in discipline and firmness. Disobedience and disregard of rules will not be tolerated and will be regarded as the breach of school discipline.

1.Parents are requested not to enter the classrooms to visit their wards or teachers during school hours without written permission of the principal.

2.For the safety and security of the students, leave for half day should not be asked for. In emergency, written permission must be taken from the principal and the class teacher, coordinator and the transport incharge should be informed accordingly if student availing transport facilities. The student will be allowed to go home only with their parents.

3.Students must come in proper and perfect uniform.

4.Students must not bring valuable article viz., expensive watches, jewellery toschool. In case of any loss of valuable or other articles, the school will try their best to find the article but it shall not take any responsibility for the loss.

5.Parents are suggested to avoid criticism of the teacher or the school in front of the children as it causes them to lose respect for teachers.

6.Parents are requested to co-operate with the school to help their children’s progress by paying attention and almost care towards their children.

7.If any complaint, please meet the principal in person. He/she will look into these matters personally.
